For the opening of the venue DB55, we dreamed up an immersive dinner spectacle: Artishock. Dishing out the local scene’s most exquisite food and art, it was a memorable feast, all around.

DB55 is all about local connections and social cohesion in The Houthavens, so we decided to work with local artists for its opening dinner theatre, in collaboration with Citydressers Amsterdam. We had Claartje van Lindhout and chef Kes Lilani create a beautiful tableau of finger-licking foodscapes.

Dressed in a monumental dress by fashion designer Mohammed Benchellal, Sharon Kovacs performed 4 songs live. A dramatic music score produced by Tom Trago brought each of the four courses of the spectacle dinner to life. All flavours, colours, sounds and smells fused into one tantalising immersive experience.
